William L Weller 2015 Release

Released within the famous and eagerly awaited Buffalo Trace Antique Selection. 

William L Weller bottlings tend to contain whiskey aged for approximately 10 to 14 years.In recent years, the William Weller bottlings have become increasingly harder to get hold of.

Very Old St. Nick Ancient Cask Bourbon

Originally the Very Olde St Nick Bourbon Whiskey was a brand designed for export, predominantly to Japan.

This bourbon is rumoured to be from one of the Bardstown distilleries in Kentucky. 

Vat 69 Circa 1950s

A great condition old bottle of Vat 69 with no markings for strength. This bottle carries the Royal Warrant for King George VI, which dates this bottling to pre-1955, a lovely and rare example of this blend from over 60 years ago.

Created by William Sanderson & Son Ltd, the whisky was first bottled in Port bottles. The name comes from William Sanderson getting a panel of experts to judge 100 casks of blended whisky, Vat 69 was the winner and turned into the brand name. Sanderson bought Glen Garioch and helped found North British distillery. 

The iconic bottle has made numerous film and TV appearances no doubt down to the distinctive look of the bottle.

Willet bottle some exceptional whiskies, they are incredibly difficult to find outside of the US.

A rather unique unusual single malt from Wakatsuru distillery, Japan.  Wakatsuru is an established Sake brewery that decided to distil malted barley, which has since been bottled.

Distilled in 1995 and matured for 20 years.

White Heather 8 Year Old 1970s

An old blend, rarely seen at auction - this bottle likely originates from the 1970s

White Heather was blended by Clan Campbell Ltd the owners of Aberlour Distillery from 1945 until 1974.
The blend was on the market from the early 1950s until the middle of the 1980s.
 

Willet Family Estate Small Batch Straight Rye Whisky

Willet's Rye is legendary, this is a bottle of the Family Estate Small Batch Rye.

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut 1772-1972 Bicentenary

Founded in 1772, Veuve is a Grande Marques Champagne, considered to have pioneered the remuage method for removing lees from the bottle after secondary fermentation, thus allowing the production of the clear sparkling wine we recognize today.

As a Brut this is a classic, dry style Champagne with little-to-no unfermented grape must added at dosage with resultantly low residual sugar and produced from the 3 main permitted.

This is their 200th Anniversary bottling.

Champagne grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Viuva Jose Gomes da Silva & Filhos Collares Genuino 1962

An extremely unusual wine from a little known Portuguese region called Colares. Most famous during the 1900s when, thanks to it's sandy costal topography, it was one of the few regions not decimated by the Phylloxera infestation that destroyed most of Europe's vines and thus became a mainstay of many tables. It has since - again thanks to its topography, which makes grape cultivation extremely labor intensive - become somewhat of a rarity. Known for it's incredible longevity this is a truly unique style of wine. This particular example is a 1962 vintage wine produced in Lisboa by Viuva Jose Gomes da Silva & Filhos

Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select

The mashbill for Woodford Reserve features a high percentage of rye: 72% corn, 18% rye and 10% malt.

Woodford's is also unusual as it is typically triple distilled and placed into the cask at a lower than average proof.
