Speyburn 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna

The mythical 12 year old Flora and Fauna release by Speyburn, perhaps even more mythical as this particular bottle is presented with the wooden box packaging.

Distillers Company Ltd (DCL/Diageo) created the Flora and Fauna series in the early 1990s, when DCL sold the distillery to Inver House distillers this bottle was discontinued, quickly making it the rarest of the Flora and Fauna bottlings.

Please note the cap has some minor marks from contact with the wood.

Springbank 1966 Local Barley Cask #480 (US Import) 75cl

Springbank produced several 'Local Barley' bottlings distilled in 1966, this rare bottle was only available in the US and comes from a single cask #480.

Distilled in February 1966 and bottled in February 1997.

One of the infamous Local Barley bottlings from Springbank, distilled in June 1970 and bottled in July 1993.  

Only 268 bottles were released from this single cask #1766.

St Magdalene 1970 Rare Malt 23 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

A bottle of the earlier St Magdalene bottled as part of the Rare Malt Selection, distilled in 1970 and bottled around 1993.

Condition of the bottle and box is very good, there are a few creases on the box.

St Magdalene 1979 Rare Malt 19 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

A spectacular bottling of St Magdalene, released as part of Diageo's infamous 'Rare Malt Selection'.  

Distilled in 1979 and bottled as a 19 year old at a healthy 63.80%, this is bottle number 4161.

Rosebank 1981 Rare Malt 22 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Rosebank was distilled in 1981 and bottled 22 years later in 2003.

Rosebank 1981 20 Year Old Rare Malt

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

This Rosebank was distilled in 1981 and bottled in the May 2002 release, at another impressive abv of 62.3%.

Strathisla 1963 Gordon and Macphail

A well aged Strathisla distilled in 1963 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in 2007.

Strathisla 25 Year Old Celebration Edition

A very limited edition release of Strathisla 25 year old, only 600 bottles were produced to mark the restoration of Strathisla Distillery on Tuesday 9th May 1995.

Sullivan's Cove French Oak #HH0424

Sullivan's Cove French Oak has quickly become an very desirable bottle of whisky, particularly after being awarded the best single malt in the world 2014, at the World Whisky Awards - the first time that a Scottish whisky was not given this award.  That's not all it has received great acclaim elsewhere from whisky writers/reviews.

Distilled on 8th August 2000 and bottled on the 14th May 2013, this 12 year old whisky was matured exclusively in French oak casks.

Rosebank 12 Year Old Flora and Fauna

This Flora and Fauna bottling of Rosebank has been discontinued for a number of years and was the last standard official release from Rosebank.

There have been super premium releases from Diageo since this bottle was discontinued.

North Port-Brechin 1974 Gordon and Macphail 22 Year Old

Distilled in 1974 and bottled in 1996 by Gordon and Macphail.

North Port is a closed distillery from the small Scottish town of Brechin.

Royal Lochnagar Selected Reserve 2007

The more recent bottling of Royal Lochnagar Selected Reserve bottled in 2007 and holds the bottle number 420 of 4,710.

Springbank 1997 Madeira Finish 15 Year Old

A Springbank Society exclusive distilled in June 1997 and matured for 10 year sin refill bourbon hogsheads before being finished for 5 years in fresh Madeira hogsheads, bottled March 2013.

Royal Lochnagar 10 Year Old Manager's Dram 2006

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

There have been very few official bottlings of North British over the years, this 1980 vintage was bottled at a impressive 60.3%.

Distilled in October 1996 and matured for 7 years in refill bourbon casks before a finishing period of 2 years in ex-Marsala casks.

Bottled in August 2006 and limited to 7,740 bottles.

Royal Celebration Decanter Charles and Camilla 2005 (x2) 

A Pointers Collection decanter produced to celebrate the wedding of Charles and Camilla in 2005.

These are bottle No. 43 and botttle No.151 of only 975. Interestingly, two different dates are stated for the wedding day itself on these two bottles...

The whisky contained in the decanters is 12 year old single malt.
