Dupeyron Hors d'Age Napoleon Armagnac 1 Litre

Armagnac is a style of brandy produced in the southwest of France, using the short alambic-armagnacais still which tends to produce richer spirits than that of Cognac. The impurities found in the spirit owing to these short stills require a long ageing period in order to reveal their silky richnesses within - thus well-aged Armagnacs can be a thing of utter beauty.

Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select

Dalmore is undoubtedly the prize single malt in the Whyte & Mackay portfolio. This was not always the case though. The blenders purchased it from the Mackenzie family in 1960, having been long-standing customers. Due to the long-running importance of it to their blends, their distillery bottlings of its single malt were limited to a 12 year old expression. Nowadays however, it is positioned as a luxury brand, rubbing shoulder with the likes of Macallan, and is globally recognised.

The long-serving Dalmore 12 year old was the sole constituent of the distillery's core range until 2002 when when the Cigar Malt and 21 year old were added.

The Sherry Cask Select was launched in late 2020 and features three different styles of Oloroso casks in the maturation, alongside spirit matured in Pedro Ximenezx casks.

Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old

Dalwhinnie was one of the six original Classic Malts when they were selected by United Distillers (now Diageo) back in 1988, and it was tipped to become the favourite among consumers on account of its flawless floral flavours and elegant character. Although eventually pipped at the post by the smoky dark horse that was the Lagavulin 16 year old, it remains a well-loved single malt. The distillery is both the highest and coldest in Scotland, contributing to its unique flavour through the rapid condensing that occurs in its worm tubs.

This is the modern iteration of the distillery's classic 15 year old.

John Dewar & Sons were granted their first Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1893, and it has been renewed by every monarch since then. The company opened the Aberfeldy distillery in 1898, and it remains the core constituent of its blends. The famous white label Scotch was debuted the following year. The company merged with James Buchanan & Co to form Dewar-Buchanan in 1915, before becoming part of DCL ten years later. It remained part of that empire until the formation of its modern iteration, Diageo, in 1997. The merger of United Distillers and Grand Metropolitan had brought too much of the industry under a sole parent organisation, and to satisfy anti-monopoly rulings, the Dewar's brands and distilleries were sold to Bacardi in 1998, who have breathed a new lease of life into many of them since.

Deanston 2002 Whisky Fellas 19 Year Old / Episode 3

Deanston distillery opened in 1965, and its first single malt was called Old Bannockburn, first bottled in 1971. Invergordon Distillers procured the distillery two years later, and introduced the first Deanston-named single malt in 1974. Sadly, a lack of interest in it saw the distillery mothballed in 1982, and it was not until 1990 when it was bought by Burn Stewart that it was revived and began to flourish. Now part of the Distell group, Deanston has become a global single malt brand.

This Deanston was distilled in 2002 and matured in a single Fino sherry cask for 19 years. It was bottled by The Whisky Fellas in 2022, as the third episode of their comic-style story, titled The Climb.

Diageo Hill Street Johnnie Walker 1820 Blend / 50th Anniversary Decanter

Johnnie Walker is arguably the most popular and recognisable blended Scotch on the market. Its core range includes the standard Red Label and Black Label, introduced in 1909 and named, quite simply, after their packaging. The iconic “striding man” motif was first drawn by Tom Browne the year prior. The premium Blue Label brand was introduced in 1992, and is composed using malt whisky from some of the most sought after distilleries in Diageo’s extensive portfolio. Today, many of these distilleries are only still with us due to their importance to the Johnnie Walker blends during the difficult 1980s period for the industry. A true champion of the whisky world.

This is a decanter presented to employees of Diageo to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Diageo at Hill Street, Kilmarnock in 2006. The decanter contains the rare Johnnie Walker 1820 blend produced originally only for the Taiwanese market which contains whiskies estimated to be 21 years old.

Delva \"Afrika Corps Lost Liquor\" Special Brand 1940s

This is a fascinating bottle. The contents of which are some of the near 250,000 gallons of whisky, discovered along with stores of Cognac, Rum and Gin by Erwin Rommel's Afrika Corps in a wine cellar in North Africa during the early stages of World War 2. After sharing the spoils among his men, the remaining casks were shipped to the Italian village of Nettuno, Italy in the holds of Axis ships. The town was then captured by Allied forces in 1944, the alcohol along with it, and US forces ordered it to be bottled at the local Delva Distillery, to be distributed among the troops. The bottles were tested by a long-forgotten Allied Military Government unit called the R.A.A.C. who labelled them, \"chemical tests carried out on Delva Liquors showed all to be within standards of purity prescribed for use by Allied Military personnel.\"

After the war the bottles were transferred into the care of the Linz National Customs Forces in Austria where they remained untouched until the 1970's. Then, in early 1976 the Afrika Corps \"Lost Liquor\" bottles were released, for sale predominantly within US Army Class VI stores. Many of the bottles had significant damage to the labels, so they were removed and replaced with replicas that looked identical but read, \"this is a true and faithful reproduction of the original label-combination on this bottle\" (and now bore volume and ABV indicators). The bottles however are still those filled at Delva, and the liquid is still that discovered by the Nazi Afrika Corps forces in the 1940's.

A bottle of blended Scotch from the early 20th century; this is a fantastic piece of both whisky and World War II history.

Daftmill 2007 Winter Batch Release 2019 / UK

Daftmill is a farm distillery, owned and run by the Cuthbert family, who grow all of the barley used in their whisky on-site. The distillery is only operational during the farm's quiet periods in mid-summer and mid-winter, sometimes producing as few as 100 casks per year. The distillery was granted its license in 2005, but not in a hurry to rush out their product, it was 2018 before their inaugural release. This patience and dedication to their craft has won the distillery an army of passionate fans, among collectors and connoisseurs alike.

This Daftmill was distilled in 2007 and matured in a combination of seven first fill bourbon barrels. The spirit was distilled from Optic barley from the farm's South Fields, harvested in August 2006 and malted in Alloa in summer 2007. It was bottled in 2019 exclusively for the UK market.
