Ardbeg Dark Cove Committee Release

The new committee release for 2016, this has been matured in ex-bourbon casks with a heart matured in dark sherry casks. 

The style has been inspired by the history of illicit distilling on the Island of Islay, many people were involved including Allan and Alexander the uncles of John McDougall founder of Ardbeg distillery. 

This is the limited committee release, there is a wider release at a lower ABV is expected for Ardbeg Day/Night at the end of May. 

Aberfeldy 1980 Flora and Fauna Cask Strength

One of the most sought after Flora and Fauna bottlings, this is one was distilled in 1980 and then bottled in 1997 at cask strength.

Ardbeg Supernova SN2015

The forth release of Supernova... SN2015. 

With Ardbeg having blasted whisky into space and it having returned successfully we are being treated to a new Supernova. We'll need to wait and see as to what Dr Lumsden has to say about zero gravity maturation... probably that it isn't cost efficient. 

Peated to over 100 PPM this is a big bang of a whisky. Truly out of this world. A star of a dram. Is that enough space puns yet?

Ardbeg Uigeadail First Release 2003

This is the first bottling of Ardbeg Uigeadail, now a core product for Ardbeg. 

Uigedail is the name of the loch which feeds Ardbeg distillery.  Uigedail has become a much loved whisky, having gained recognition in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible winning ‘World Whisky of the Year’ in 2009.

Ardbeg Alligator Untamed Release

A fierce charring to the cask, an 'alligator char' provides the name for this whisky, aggressive heat when applied to the inside of the casks causes the cracking of the wood which re-sembles that of an Alligators skin. 

Following the acclaimed committee release, the un-tamed edition was released in 2011 and quickly sold out.

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch #8

Aberlour A'bunadh is bottled using only first fill Oloroso sherry butts, this is batch #8 released in 2001.

Please note there is no box and condition of the wax. 

Arran Rowan Tree 'Icons of Arran'

Ardbeg Serendipity 12 year old

The result of an accident when very year old Ardbeg gets mixed with 12 year old Glen Moray.

This blended malt was simply 20% Glen moray and 80% Ardbeg.

Released in 2005, there were 16,000 bottles made available.

Ardbeg Still Young 1998

Ardbeg Still Young was distilled in 1998 and released in 2006, the second release on the ‘path to peaty maturity’.

Ardbeg 10 Year Old

They don't get much peatier than Ardbeg, this is a bottle of their beloved 10 year old.
