Sullivans Cove has quickly become an very desirable distillery particularly after one of their releases being awarded the best single malt in the world 2014, at the World Whisky Awards - the first time that a Scottish whisky was not given this award.  That's not all it has received great acclaim elsewhere from whisky writers/reviews.

Chichibu Ichiro's Malt E-Power

A very rare bottling from Chichibu distillery in Japan. This release yielded 538 bottles and was matured in an ex-Mizunara Sherry Hogshead barrel (#1490) before being finished in a heavily charred new barrel (#1683).

This Coleburn was distilled in 1979 and bottled as a 21 year old at 59.40%.

Carsebridge 1964 Kingsbury's 33 Year Old

A 33 year old Carsebridge, distilled in 1964 and bottled at 33 years of age by Kingsbury & Co Ltd.

Distilled in November 1964 and bottled in September 1998 from a single ex-bourbon cask #132655.

The Rare Malts are a Limited Edition series of cask-strength single malts, issued, and designed by Diagio to show off some of the lesser known distilleries in their empire, these bottlings are sought after by collectors and drinkers alike.  

This 22 year old Craigellachie was distilled in 1973 and is bottle no. 4544, bottled in 1995.

Caol Ila 1976 Signatory Vintage 25 Year Old

A rare old vintage Caol Ila from 1976.

Distilled on 29th September 1976 and bottled on 5th May 2002 from single cask #8088.

This is bottle number 278 of 305.

Craigellachie 1973 Rare Malt 22 Year Old​ 

The Rare Malts are a Limited Edition series of cask-strength single malts, issued, and designed by Diagio to show off some of the lesser known distilleries in their empire, these bottlings are sought after by collectors and drinkers alike.  

This 22 year old Craigellachie was distilled in 1973 and is bottle no. 4289, bottled in 1995.

Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 1970

From the Paulliac Appellation in the Haute-Medoc sub-region on the left-bank of the Bordeaux. Hugh Johnson (Master of Wine) has said, \"If one had to single out one commune of Bordeaux to head the list, there would be no argument. It would be Pauillac.\"

Of the wines of Paulliac, Lafite-Rothschild is arguably one of the most sought after. Their vineyards are planted to 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot with an average vine age of close to 40 years.

Carruades De Chateau Lafite-Rothschild 1950

Chateau Lafite Rothschild’s second wine, Carruades de Lafite presents similar characteristics to the Grand Vin, but with its own personality linked to a higher proportion of Merlot and to specific plots that are used to produce Carruades. The name comes from the Carruades plateau, a group of plots acquired in 1845 just next to the vines on the Chateau hilltop

There were only two releases of Cardhu under the Rare Malt Selection, this is bottle number 4948.

Cragganmore 17 Year Old Manager’s Dram 1992

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

This 17 year old Cragganmore matured in sherry casks and bottled on the 25th November 1992.

There is no bottle quantity on this item however it appears to be a 75cl bottle.

Distilled at Caroni in 1992 and matured at their distillery until 2008 when the casks were moved to Guyana for a further four years of maturation.

The front label depicts the last picture taken of Caroni Distillery in 2004.
