Port Ellen 1979 32 Year Old 12th Release

The twelth edition of the incredibly popular Port Ellen annual releases.  Distilled in 1979 and bottled 32 years later in 2012, bottled at cask strength and limited to 2,964 bottles, this is bottle 0546.

Port Ellen is the lost jewel in the Islay crown. Closure in 1983 has enabled this distillery to receive a near mythical amount of love and respect. As stocks get thinner on the ground, these bottles become rarer and rarer.

Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 20 Year Old

This bourbon has become quite legendary, particularly after the theft of 65 X 3 bottle cases in 2013.

Now incredibly hard to find and even harder to buy from any retailer.

This bottle was distilled in the Frankfort distillery.

North Port 1971 Rare Malt 23 Year Old 75cl / US Import

The Rare Malts are a Limited Edition series of cask-strength single malts, issued, and designed by Diagio to show off some of the lesser known distilleries in their empire, these bottlings are sought after by collectors and drinkers alike.  

This is a US bottling from the Rare Malt range, distilled in 1971 and bottled at 23 years old.

Old Malt Cask release from Douglas Laing, this Port Ellen was distilled in 1983 before being bottled 22 years later in 2005.

Bottled from one sherry matured butt. 

Pittyvaich 1977 Cadenhead's / Bar Metro

Distilled in 1977 and bottled in late 1980s or early 1990s by Cadenhead's. This was Bar Metro in Italy. 

A cask strength Cadenhead bottling release from this closed Speysde distillery.

A very rare bottling from the closed North Port / Brechin distillery. 

Distilled in June 1975 and bottled in March 2000 by Signatory vintage.

A mystery Kentucky bourbon bottled by the Kentucky Bourbon Distillers AKA Willett Distilling Comapany.

This small batch Bourbon comes from the same range as Rowan's Creek and is highly reccomended.  

The whiskies inside range from 4 to 20 year old. 

North Port / Brechin 1981 Gordon and Macphail 

Mothballed in 1983 and demolished in 1990, the site of North Port now houses a Supermarket. 

North Port is quickly becoming scarce, this 1981 release from Gordon and Macphail was bottled in 2000.

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Vintage 1949 Champagne

Founded in 1772, Veuve is a Grande Marques Champagne, considered to have pioneered the remuage method for removing lees from the bottle after secondary fermentation, thus allowing the production of the clear sparkling wine we recognize today. As a Brut this is a classic, dry style Champagne with little-to-no unfermented grape must added at dosage with resultantly low residual sugar and produced from the 3 main permitted Champagne grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Decanter Magazine classifies 1949 to be a notable older vintage for Champage.

This is a single grain whisky from the now closed North of Scotland distillery.

A very limited single cask bottling of Port Charlotte available exclusively to those who visit Bruichladdich distillery.

Distilled on the 10th of October 2005 and bottled 10 years later from single Grenache Blanc cask #1064.
