Glenfarclas 1963 / William & Son Cabinet

A very exclusive item containing Glenfarclas 1963 Family Cask presented in a rifle and shotgun cleaning kit created by William & Son, London.

William & Son are crafters of shotguns and rifles and this kit has been created to their exceptional standards. 

The Glenfarclas Family Cask was distillled in 1963 and bottled in October 2011, matured in in Sherry Hogshead number 179. 

Only 20 of these stunning cabinets were produced.

Brora 1972 Rare Malt 22 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is an historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

It is often said that 1972 Broras are exceptional, there are five Rare Malt Brora 1972s and this is an example of one of them. The 1972 continued to be an important vintage when Diageo released the recent 40 year old with the same vintage. 

Since its closure in 1983 the popularity of Brora has soared, this is an oppertunity to own an key part of both it's history and popularity. 

Ben Wyvis 1965 Final Bottling 37 Year Old

The final bottling from one of the last five casks of Ben Wyvis. Distilled on the 17th of June 1965 before the distillery ceased production in 1976 this whisky was matured for 37 years. 

Bottle number 66 of 200 from cask number 300066.

Glendronach 1972 Single Cask 40 Year Old

Distilled in February 1972 and then bottled in March 2013 from single cask number 704 which was an Oloroso sherry butt. Bottled for Spirit Empire in China.

Glen Flagler 1973 30 Year Old

A very rare bottling of this long lost distillery that was once part of the Moffat distilling complex.  

This 30 year old official release from Inverhouses is a combination of the five  last remaining casks of Glen Flagler that belonged to Inverhouse.

A release of only 931 bottles this is bottle number 470.

Includes a lovely wooden box and certificate of authenticity.

Glenfiddich 1973 Vintage Reserve 33 Year Old

A very rare bottling of Glenfiddich exclusively bottled for the distillery.

Distilled in 1973 matured in cask # 9874.

This is bottle number 160.

Ben Wyvis 1972 27 Year Old / The Final Resurrection

This is one of the final bottlings Invergordon distillers released and this particlular botlting was for the Japanese market. Distilled in 1972 prior to the distillery ceasing production in 1976. 

This is from cask 745. 

Bottle number 126 of 187. 

Brora 32 Year Old 2011 Release

The 2011 release of Brora by Diageo, was the first official bottling of Brora over the age of 30.

This is bottle number 1236 of 1,500.

Glenglassaugh 1972 Single Cask 38 Year Old

A recent old release from the long closed but now reopened distillery, selected by Andrea Caminneci for Germany.

Distilled in May 1972 then matured in a refill butt numbered 2891 for 38 years. 

This is bottle number 81 of 303. 

Glenfiddich 1964 Hart Brothers 40 Year Old

A 40 year old independently bottled, sherry matured Glenfiddich. . . that's fairly uncommon!

Bunnahabhain 1965 Single Cask 35 Year Old

Distilled in November 1965 and then matured in a sherry cask this was then bottled in April 2001 for that year's Feis Ile. 

Widely considered as one of the finest Bunnahabhains ever. 

One of 594 bottles.

Brora 1977 Douglas Laing 26 Year Old

A rare single cask Brora distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2003 by Douglas Laing, within their Old and Rare collection.

One of 228 bottles.

Glenrothes John Ramsay

Selected by the retiring malt master John Ramsay after 43 years of service, this bottling came from a vatting of twenty, second fill American oak sherry casks racked into sherry butts. The two best casks were then vatted together.

Bowmore 1985 26 year old

This is a small batch 1985 Bowmore that was bottled in 2012. 

One of 747 bottles. 

Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #4

As with the previous releases of Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Seven traditional whisky casks and three sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1401 – The Balvenie’s traditional oak marrying vessel.

The expression has been exclusively created for the travel retail market and consists of the casks shown below.

Balvenie Tun 1858 Batch #2

A marriage of 9 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks created the second limited edition Balvenie Tun 1858, for the Taiwanese market. A limited release of only 2,600 bottles this has rarely been seen at auction.

As with the Balvenie Tun 1401, these whiskies are hand-selected by Malt Master David Stewart. Nine traditional whisky casks and two sherry butts are combined and rested for several months in Tun 1858.  The vintages range from 1966 and 1975.

Bowmore 1988 Feis Ile 2013

Released at Feis Ile 2013, this 24 year old Bowmore was fully matured in a first fill bourbon cask.

This is one of 300 bottles. 

Bruichladdich 36 Year Old DNA

Bottled in December 2008 this is a 36 year old Bruichladdich, that was matured in 80% bourbon and 20% sherry prior to a Chateau Le Pin Finish. 

In Jim McEwan's words, this represents \"The precious legacy of those who went before us; a tribute to our past and a celebration of what is to come.\"

Bottle number 385 of 900.

Glenfarclas 1966 Douglas Laing Probably Speyside's Finest

\"Probably Speyside's Finest\" is \"probably\" code for Glenfarclas. 

This was distilled in June 1966 and bottled in August 2008 after 42 years in a sherry butt. There is no \"probably\" about this being awesome. 

One of 272 bottles. 

Bruichladdich ​Octomores Futures 'The Beast'

Distilled on 9th November 2004 and bottled in April 2011 the futures releases were only ever available at Bruichladdich distillery.

Peated to a massive 167 ppm, malted using Optic barley and matured in a bourbon cask.  

No wonder it's named 'The Beast'

Bottled at 46% vol from casks specially selected by George S. Grant, Director of Sales and the sixth generation of the family who own and manage the distillery.

A fantastic whisky from one of Scotland's last independents.

Brora 1982 Douglas Laing 22 Year Old

Distilled in 1982 and bottled 2004, this is a single sherry cask matured Brora and was bottled at 50% abv. 

One of 664 bottles. 

Bunnahabhain 1968 Jack Wiebers Tempelritter 42 Year Old

A very rare 42 year old Bunnahabhain selected and bottled by Jack Wiebers for Monnier Trading. 

Matured in a refill sherry cask #12404 and limited to only 180 bottles.

George T Stagg 2005 Release

An older George T Stagg released at their usual impressive strength, this time 70.6% ABV. 

This was one of three releases from 2005, this came out after September and was comprised of barrels over 15 years. 

This was named \"World Whiskey of The Year\" by Jim Murray in the \"2005 Whisky Bible\".

Glenmorangie 1974 Original Maltings 

An elegant 50cl bottle of Glenmorangie, distilled in 1974 using malt from Glenmorangie's original floor maltings, which have since closed, bottled in 1999 before the millenium.

This is bottle number 958 of 2,000.

Please note this is a 50cl bottle and there is minor damage to the box. 

Glengoyne 1967 The Middle Cut

Distilled in 1967 and the bottled in 1997 this highly limited Glengoyne is presented in a spirit safe style locked box. 

During distillation all spirit comes through the spirit safe, this is cut into three, the head, the heart and the tail. The head and the tail are essentially unusable \"the middle cut\" is what goes on to become whisky.

Glenugie 1981 Duncan Taylor 22 Year Old

A Duncan Taylor bottling of this closed Aberdeenshire distillery, distilled in November 1981 and bottled in July 2004.

Single sherry cask ask #5156 yielded 548 bottles, this is bottle number 440.

Glen Avon 1955 Gordon and Macphail / Glenfarclas

A wonderful old bottling of a mystery Speyside by Gordon and Macphail, Glen Avon is rumoured to actually be Glenfarclas - it's only a rumour though!

Distilled in 1955 and bottled at some point in the 1990s.

Glenugie 1965 Hart Brothers 23 Year Old

A very rare 1965 Glenugie bottled by Hart Brothers in the late 1980s, one of their very early bottlings.

Glenury Royal 1970 Rare Malt 29 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

One of the few official bottlings of Glenury Royal released at 29 years old within the famous Rare Malts Selection.  

Distilled in 1970 and bottled in the October 1999 out-turn.
