Lochside 1964 Scott's Selection 42 Year Old / Single Blend

An incredibly interesting and exceptional whisky.

A single blend refers to a blended whisky which contains both malt and grain spirit distilled at one location, in this case Lochside.  

Distilled in 1964, married at birth and bottled in 2006.

Littlemill / Dunglass 1967 Signatory

A two pack of 50cl bottles. 

Littlemill 1967 36 Year old: Distilled February 1967 and bottled June 2003, this is bottle number 27 of 325. 

Dunglass 1967 37 Year Old: Distilled May 1967 and bottled June 2004, this is bottle number 27 of 325. 

Both of these distilleries are closed and completely gone.

Linlithgow (St Magdalene) 1973 30 Year Old

One of the few old official bottlings from this incredible distillery.

Distilled in 1973 and matured for 30 years until Diageo chose to release this as part of their famous annual super premium releases in 2004.

Limited to only 1,500 bottles.

A rare and discontinued entry to this classic series of whiskies produced by Diageo.

This bottle was specially released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of recorded whisky production at this Speyside distillery in 1991.

Distilled in October 1967 and bottled July 2001, this is from Speyside's Longmorn distillery. 

Please note the rust on the lid. 

Clynelish 1972 Single Malts of Scotland 38 Year Old

Distilled November 1972 and bottled May 2011. 

One of 439 bottles. 

Caperdonich 1968 Hart Brothers 32 Year Old

Distilled in December 1968 and bottled in July 2001, this is from closed Dufftown distillery Caperdonich. 

Caperdonich 1972 Duncan Taylor 36 Year Old

Distilled November 1972 and bottled September 2009, this 36 year old whisky was bottled from cask #7446.

Linkwood 1974 Rare Malt 30 Year Old

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Released at a natural cask strength of 54.9%, distilled in 1974  and bottled as a 30 year old.

Bottle number 4137.

Good neck level.

Craigduff 1973 Signatory Vintage 38 Year Old 

A very rare experimental whisky, produced at Strathisla distillery using heavily peated malt.  Occasionally there has been some controversy over the origin of Craigduff and some people have suggested it was actually produced at Glen Keith distillery, wherever it was produced it is extremely rare as only a handful of casks have ever been bottled independantly by Signatory Vintage.

Distilled on the 4th April 1973 and bottled on 25th August  2005, this 32 year old Craigduff was matured exclusively in a sherry butt, cask #2513.

Craigellachie 1973 Rare Malts 22 Year Old Limited Edition

The Rare Malts are a Limited Edition series of cask-strength single malts, issued, and designed by Diagio to show off some of the lesser known distilleries in their empire, these bottlings are sought after by collectors and drinkers alike.  

This 22 year old Craigellachie was distilled in 1973 and is bottle no. 2406, bottled in 1995.

In original box, level is in the neck, entire package is pristine with the exception to the slight knock against the cap.

Littlemill 1988 Exclusive Malts 25 Year Old 75cl

A rare bottling of Littlemill sold exclusively by K&L Wine Merchants, California.

Distilled in November 1988 then matured for 25 years in cask number 8. 

One of 298 bottles.

Chichibu 2008 Ichiro's Malt The First

The first whisky (aged three year old) released from Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery. Showcased at the 2011 Whisky Show then released in UK in early 2012.

Coleburn 1981 Gordon and Macphail

Distilled in 1981 and bottled by Gordon and Macphail in 2006.

Coleburn is one of the numerous distilleries that failed to survive the 1980s \"cull\". The distillery equipment is gone so there is no chance of resurrection for this Speyside distillery.

Mystery Lowland malt from Ian MacLeod from 1967, there were a couple more to choose from back then.

Littlemill 21 Year Old (2nd Release)

Released in 2014 this official bottling of Littlemill proved to be very popular, perhaps unsuprising as there are so few official releases from this lost distillery.

Limited release of 4,600 bottles at 21 years old.

Chichibu 2008 Single Cask / Cask Sample

A very early single malt from Ichiro Akuto's Chichibu distillery. 

Distilled in April 2008 (the year the distillery became operational) and bottled May 2011. 

Matured in cask number 26 which was a first fill American oak barrel.
