Bidding advice
You can place bids either under the lot image on the main auction page or on the right side of the individual lot page.
Placing a Maximum Bid
Use the "Set your bid limit" button on the left side of the bidding panel to enter the highest amount you're willing to bid on a lot. Our system will then automatically raise your bid in set increments if you’re outbid, up to your maximum. If someone bids above your set limit, we’ll notify you by email so you can choose whether to increase your bid.
Placing a Single Bid
Alternatively, place a single bid by selecting the button on the right side of the bidding panel. The button displays the amount needed for the next increment. For example, if the current highest bid is £50.00, the button will show "+ £55.00" (reflecting a £5.00 increment).
Incremental Bidding Explained
Our system increases bids based on preset increments, as shown in the table below, whether you set a maximum bid or make a single bid.

Loch Lomond 2000 Dà Mhìle 16 Year Old Organic Single Cask / Final Edition
Loch Lomond distillery was an innovative project when first conceived, intending to be fully self-reliant in its blending responsibilities by producing a variety of single malt and grain whiskies on the same site. The combination of swan-necked pot stills, Lomond stills and continuous stills, nowadays allow for the production of a staggering 11 distinct spirits. Within these are a number of single malts, including Inchmurrin, Inchmoan, Rhosdhu and Croftengea.
This Loch Lomond was distileld in 2000 and matured in a single cask for 16 years. It was bottled by Dà Mhìle from a parcel of casks they comissioned in 2000. The majority were used to create the world's first entirely organic blended Scotch whisky, however those deemed of exceptional quality, like this one, were kept back and further matured. This was the final cask of the parcel.
Dà Mhìle Distillery are an organic distillery based on the Glynhynod Farm in Ceredigion on the West coast of Wales. Founder John Savage-Onstwedder first set out in 1992 to create the world's first organic whisky, enlisting the help of the famed Springbank distillery. In 2012, after a multitude of organic whisky firsts, the farm began producing their own organic spirit. The distillery now produces their own organic whisky, gin, rum and other fine spirits, alongside their independent bottlings.
