Michael Veach

Michael Veach is one of the foremost authorities on all things bourbon, and has spent over 15 years with The Filson Historical Society serving in the role of historian and author.

Mr. Veach has been featured in publications such as The Bourbon Review and The Louisville Encyclopedia. He’s written and contributed to five books, including his own Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey: An American Heritage and has provided bourbon history education in many different forms over the years.

Prior to his long tenure at The Filson, Veach spent five years as the North American Archivist for United Distillers. In 2006, he was inducted into The Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.
