The Heritage Selection was a collective of single malt brands introduced by Seagram Distillers in 1994. It launched new single malts brands for Benriach and Glen Keith alongside refreshed labels for Longmorn and Strathisla. This followed similar packages from United Distillers called the Classic Malts of Scotland in 1988, and the Caledonian Malts from Allied Distillers in 1991 as the historic blending powerhouses of Scotland slowly adapted to the newly buoyant single malt market at the time.
The Heritage Selection expressions were the Benriach 10-year-old, Strathisla 12-year-old, Longmorn 15-year-old and Glen Keith 1983 (later replaced by a 10-year-old).
