Antique Lions of Spirits Birds

Birds is one of three collections of independent bottlings produced by Antique Lions of Spirits, a collaboration between Sansibar Whisky, Lions Whisky and Whisky Antique. Each series is intended as an homage to the legendary themed collections released by Moon Import in Italy in the 1980s and 1990s.

Birds was bottled in 2016 and each of the labels features artwork selected from Brockhaus Enzyklopädie, the same encyclopedia that Moon Import's Pepi Mongiadino used for the artworks on both of his own The Birds series in 1988 and 1990.
