Whisk-e
Whisky-e is a Tokyo-based importer and distributor established to market independent whisky companies and distillers in Japan. It was founded in 2000 by an English expatriate called David Croll who was the Japanese agent for the then-new Arran distillery. Whisk-e is also the parent company of Whisky Magazine Japan Co which independently publishes the UK-based magazine and organised the Tokyo editions of its Whisky Live events (since evolved into the Tokyo International Bar Show).
Very much a multi-faceted operation, the company is also an independent bottler and launched its debut Impressive Cask brand in 2006. It has gone on to develop of a regular outturn of releases that are bottled under a variety of different labels.
