Rolf Kaspar is a historic German retailer, originally established in 1882 by Fritz Zunger as a wine and spirits shop and drug store. It was acquired by Karl Kaspar in 1928 and inherited by his son, Rolf, in 1972, who opted to focus on its beverage interests. As of 2012, it has also been producing its own brands of independent bottlings under the ownership of Thilo Marquaß.
The company's best-known independent label is its Black Corbie single casks brand. It has also bottled some notable Irish single malts for its Hotel Essener Hof and Lichtburg Historic Series.
