R&B Distillers

R&B Distillers is a whisky company established in 2014 by Bill Dobbie and Alasdair Day. The latter had entered the whisky business in 2009 by reviving the Tweeddale blended Scotch brand and was seeking investment to help grow it by opening his own distillery. It currently owns the Isle of Raasay malt distillery on the island of the same name, however abandoned its project to open a grain distillery in the Scottish Borders town of Peebles, revealing alternative plans in 2022 for a second malt distillery, Machrihanish, to open in Campbeltown in 2025.

The company currently continues to market Tweeddale blended Scotch, alongside the Isle of Raasay single malt brand which it launched in 2020. It also previously marketed a series of independent bottlings called While We Wait.
