QV.ID
QV.ID (to be pronounced "Cuvée Idee") was a Belgian wine and spirits retailer in Huldenberg. It was set up in 2009 by Koen Philips, whose family had run a similar operation in the unit since 1899. Previously part of the Prik & Tik group, Philips took the store independent in order to diversify its stock and emphasise single malt whisky. As of 2016, the location is back under the Prik & Tik umbrella as a new shop called The Drinks.
Although it only traded for a few years, the company managed to turn out some of its own independent bottlings in that time. Of particular note is a 21-year-old Bowmore bottled in 2011 with cask selection assistance from legendary Belgian whisky connoisseurs, Luc Timmermans and Dominiek Bouckaert.
