Preiss Imports

An American import and distribution business founded by Henry Preiss in 1987. Currently in its second iteration, the original Preiss Imports was acquired by the Griffin Group in 2008, who renamed it as the Anchor Distilling Company in 2010. After abandoning the trademark, with Preiss Imports name was revived in 2016 as the spirits division of HSE Epicurean, a company established by Henry Preiss and his daughter, Nicole.

The company has played a significant role in whisky over the years, perhaps most importantly as once-owner of the A.H. Hirsch Reserve brand. It has also acted as the US agent for a number of important Scotch whisky companies.
