Morrison Howat Distillers

Morrison Howat Distillers was a company established in 1976 as Morrison Howat International. It was renamed in 1982 after being fully acquired by the Stanley P. Morrison company and was operated as a subsidiary, producing various blended Scotch brands for export markets and as a means to sell Bowmore single malt via different distribution partners to the official brand.

The company was renamed Stanley P. Morrison Ltd in 1987 in advance of the parent company rebranding itself as Morrison Bowmore Distillers, and it still exists today as a non-trading entity within the Suntory Global Spirits group.
