Montenegro

Montenegro srl (trading as Gruppo Montenegro) is a food and drinks company based in Bologna, Italy. Its flagship brand is its eponymous Amaro Montenego which it has produced since its founder, Stanislao Cobianchi, created the recipe 1885. Today it also owns Vecchia Romagna brandy and Select aperitivo among other products.

In addition to producing its own labels, the company also distributes a portfolio of whisky and other spirits in Italy. Today these include Jack Daniel's and Bushmills, and in the 1970s and 1980s it imported White Horse Distillers brands, including Lagavulin single malt.
