McLain & Kyne
McLain & Kyne was established in 1997 by Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, launching its Jefferson's bourbon brand in the same year. Originally a non-distiller producer, it sourced its early whiskey from other companies, including some sought after releases bottled from cask of Stitzel-Weller wheated bourbon.
In 2006 the company was acquired by Castle Brands, and operated as its subsidiary for many years. The two were eventually merged together by Pernod Ricard in 2021, with McLain & Kyne ceasing to exist in favour of its parent company.
