The Malt Whisky Company

The Malt Whisky Company is a Scottish independent bottler founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife team, Stuart and Wilma Nickerson. Stuart is an industry veteran with experience at Highland Distillers and as a director at William Grant & Sons. In addition to running The Malt Whisky Company, the Nickersons have also invested in new distillery projects such as Saxa Vord and GlenWyvis in Scotland, and Tipperary in Ireland.

The company released its first single cask bottlings in 2014, launching with an impressive 40-year-old Glenglassaugh. Generally adopting a quality-over-quantity approach, its catalogue has remained fairly limited over the years.
