John Bisset & Co

John Bisset & Co was a historic blending company that was established in Aberdeen in 1828. It acquired the Royal Brackla distillery in 1926, and was associated with it for much of the century. The company joined the Distillers Company Limited in 1943 and operated as a subsidiary of it until its eventual dissolution following the sale of Royal Brackla to Bacardi Limited in 1999.

In its day the company was best-known for its Bisset's brand of blended Scotch. Despite holding the license for Royal Brackla for many years, it never committed to marketing its single malt and produced only a handful of late limited editions for the Italian market.
