Japan Import System Co

Japan Import System is a company started in 1989 by Katsuhiko Tanaka. It was built upon his family's business which was established by Tanaka's grandmother as a liquor store in Tsukiji back in 1956. As of 2016 the company has relocated its head office back to that area.

As an importer and distributor, the company represents a number of whisky brands in Japan, and Tanaka is also a co-founder of the Kingsbury Wine & Spirit Co independent bottler.
