James Catto & Co is a historic Scottish whisky company that is currently part of the ThaiBev group as a dormant subsidiary of its Scotch whisky division, Inver House Distillers. The company remains the named bottler on its Catto's brand of blended Scotch whiskies.
The company traces it origins back to 1861, with the current iteration incorporated in 1918 following the liquidation of the original James Catto Limited. It was bought by W&A Gilbey in 1945 and sold to Inver House by United Distillers in 1990.
