Isetan Mitsukoshi

Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd was established in 2008 by the merger of Isetan Co and Mitsukoshi, both of which are historic department store chains that continue to operate as separate subsidiaries.

The company has strong links to the Japanese whisky industry, particularly through the Isetan side and over the years has worked with companies like Number One Drinks and Venture whisky to obtain exclusive releases of Karuizawa, Hanyu and Chichibu for the spirits departments of its outlets.
