George Strachan

George Strachan Ltd is a royal warrant-holding company that operates the Strachan's of Royal Deeside stores in Ballater and Aboyne. It was founded in 1926 by George and Mary Strachan and the current iteration was officially incorporated in 1950.

Over the years it has marketed a number of its own blended Scotch brands, including Old Cobblers, Heebie Jeebies and Pheasant Plucker. It is also known for a small collection of high-quality independent bottlings of single malt and grain Scotch, many of which were exported to Italy and have become sought-after collector's items.
