Distillerie Fratelli Ramazzotti
Distillerie Fratelli Ramazotti was established in 1866 following the death of Ausano Ramazzotti, who left his popular Amaro business to his family. The company continued to produce its eponymous Amaro, as well as other liqueurs, and was acquired by the Pernod Ricard group in 1985. It has since become the company's Italian division and is now known as Pernod Ricard Italia SpA.
In addition to distilling its own brands, the company also imported and distributed other spirits in Italy. As part of Pernod Ricard these included its own label such as Glenlivet, Aberlour and (at the time) Wild Turkey, as well as many more from other producers such as the Black & White blends and Glen Moray single malt.
