Founded in 1957, the Compagnie Financiere Europeenne de Prises de Participation SA (genrally referred to as COFEPP) is a French alcoholic beverages multinational, second only to Pernod Ricard in terms of its size. The company's subsidiaries include La Martinquaise, Slaur Sardet and Marie Brizzard Wine & Spirits.
Through its Glen Turner Distillery Ltd subsidiary in Scotland, the company has a number of important Scotch whisky holdings. These include the Glen Moray malt and Starlaw grain distilleries, as well as blended Scotch brand like Cutty Sark and Label 5.
