Celtic Whisky Compagnie
Founded
1997
The Celtic Whisky Compangnie was established in 1997 by Martine and Jean Donnay. It opened the Glann Ar Mor distillery in 1999 in the Brittany region of France, and produced a non-peated single malt there alongside a peated variety that is marketed as Kornog. The company also bottled casks of Scotch whisky which were sold using the Celtique Connexion brand.
In 2020 it was acquired by Maison Villevert who continue to market its brands, but have renamed the distillery as the Celtic Whisky Distillerie.
