Caora GmbH is a Swiss independent bottler, located in Olten near the French and German borders. It was founder in 2016 by four friends: Michael Zila, Roman Bachmann, Michael Rudolf von Rohr and David Lang. All fell in love with whisky together during a trip to Scotland ten years prior.

The company name, Caora, is taken from the Gaelic work for "sheep."
