The Atholl Distilleries

The Atholl Distilleries was a subsidiary company of the Arthur Bells & Sons group, established to manage production at the Blair Athol distillery. It was eventually dissolved when Guinness PLC merged Arthur Bell & Sons into United Distillers and began to rationalise its expensive portfolio.

The company began marketing the Blair Athol single malt brand around the 1960s and it also produced an eponymous blended Scotch brand alongside another called Craig Athol.
