Artisanal Spirits Company

Founded in late 2014, the Artisanal Spirits Company was established by private equity firm, Inverleith LLP, in order to acquire the Scotch Malt Whisky Society from LVMH.

Despite taking the company public in 2021, Inverleith LLP is still a shareholder in the Artisanal Spirits Company which also added the historic J.G. Thomson & Co brand to its portfolio in 2017, relaunching it in 2021. As of 2024, the company is also the owner of the Single Cask Nation brand
