ARen Trading Co (often stylised as ART) was founded in 2013 by whisky enthusiast, Po Wen 'Michael' Hsieh, who also co-created the annual WhiskyFair Takao. The Taiwanese company is an importer and distributor that represents brands including Whiskybase's Archives series, The Whisky Agency and Säntis Malt.
In addition, it also purchases casks from The Whisky Agency which its uses to bottle its own independent labels.
