The Firkin Rare

The Firkin Rare is the top tier brand of independently bottled single cask Scotch whiskies from the Australian-based The Firkin Whisky Co. It is part of its The Firkin Four range and as with those, each whisky is finished in a custom made firkin cask built from two different types of oak stave.

Examples of The Firkin Rare tend to be selected from lesser-seen distilleries outside of the independent bottling market and finishes have included tawny port and marsala wine.
