Colonel E.H. Taylor
The Colonel E.H. Taylor label was introduced by the Sazerac Company as a means of rejuvenating the Old Taylor brand. The company had acquired it from Fortune Brands in 2009, who had been producing it largely as a budget-price product to that point. The whiskey is produced at Buffalo Trace, a distillery to which Taylor's name is inexorably linked through his ownership of it in the 19th century.
The brand's core range comprises single barrel, small batch and a cask strength bourbon, alongside a straight rye. Limited editions are produced annually as well and tend to be highly sought-after.
