Black Maple Hill is an iconic American whiskey brand owned by the Californian wine and spirits distributor, CVI Brands. A bourbon and a rye version is currently contract-distilled for the company by the Stein distillery in Oregon.
The label was introduced in 2000 with the earliest iteration bottled using Stitzel-Weller bourbon by the Old Commonwealth Distillery Company. Production was then moved to Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in 2002 and bottled by them for the next decade.
