A very rare bottling of Glenlochy from within the Rare Malts Selection and one of the rare bottles from the series.

The Rare Malt Selection is a historic selection of single malt whiskies from operational and lost distilleries that were released by Diageo between 1995 and 2005.

Distilled in 1969 and bottled as a 26 year old,this is bottle number 0454.

B297 version , the last of the Rare Malt Selection bottlings of this closed distillery.

Glen Grant 1965 Signatory Vintage Millenium Decanter and Miniature

An excellent, very heavily sherried and well aged Glen Grant bottled to mark the Millenium by Signatory Vintage presented in a decanter and a miniature.

This Glen Grant was distilled on the 11th October 1965 and bottled on the 11th October 1999, matured in a single Spanish sherry butt #5344.

Complete with certificate of authenticity, miniature sample, decanter stopper and presentation case.

Excellent condition and fill level.

Oban 16 Year Old Manager’s Dram 200th Anniversary 1994

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Bottled to celebrate Oban’s 200th anniversary, 1794 – 1994  this 16 year old was released exclusively from sherry casks by distillery manager John William and his employees listed on the rear of the bottle.

Bottled July 1994.

Glenglassaugh 1986 Single Cask 28 Year Old

Distilled in 1986 this was amongst the first vintage releases from Glenglassaugh following the distillery being taken over by the owners of Benriach and Glendronach.  

Distilled on 19th February 1986 and bottled in February 2014, this 28 year old whisky was matured in a single hogshead #2101 which yielded 323 bottles, this is bottle number 121.

Glen Grant 25 Year Old George Strachan 1970s

A particularly interesting bottle of Glen Grant bottled by George Strachan Ltd of Aboyne, Aberdeenshire.  This bottle carries fluid ounces and proof which dates the distillation this whisky to circa late 1940s and early 1950s.

A very interesting indepenant bottling enjoyed by Serge Valentin who scored it at 87 points.

Available at Glenfiddich distillery throughout the Spirit of Speyside whisky festival 2014.

Distilled in 1993 and matured in a single Cerons sweet wine cask from Chateau Du Seuil, cask number #13/3239 yielded  only 250 bottles.

Our monthly auctions end from 7:00 PM (UK local time) on the closing date. If a bid is placed after 7:00 PM on any lot, the entire auction will be extended by an additional two minutes. 

The auction will end once all bidding has ceased for two minutes. Based on previous auction activity, the auction will continue for several hours and is most likely to finish between 9pm - 11pm (UK local time).
