Old Pulteney 40 Year Old

This 40 year old Old Pulteney is presented in an impressive and eye catching hard wood box.  The bottle has been hand-blown and decorated with silver waves, blown across the glass while the metal was still molten (cool!).

The bottle has been capped with a polished stone stopper.  

Old Fitzgerald 12 Year Old / Barreled 1955

There is ever increasing demand worldwide for whiskies such as this incredible 1955 barreled Old Fitzgerald, bottled in 1967 after 12 years in bond.

These vintages of Old Fitzgerald are particularly desirable given that the production of the bottles occurred at the famous and now lost Stitzel-Weller Distillery, which closed in 1992.  Combine this with the Pappy Van Winkle phenomonen, which has brought collectible bourbon to prominence over recent years, meaning that anything from this distillery is now incredibly sought after.

Imported by D&C to the Italian market in the 1970's.

Old Fitzgerald 1958 Vintage 10 Year Old / Stitzel Weller​

We don't see vintage Old Fitzgerald very often, so we are particularly excited about this bottle which was distilled in 1958 and bottled in 1969 at the original Stitzel Weller Distillery, before it closed and production was moved to Buffalo Trace. 

Uniting Nations 40 Year Old The Essence of Karuizawa / Ichiro Akuto Blended Malt

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

This limited bottling was blended by Ichiro Akuto, this is a combination of a 40 year old Scottish malt and 45 year old Karuizawa.

Oban 16 Year Old Manager's Dram Bicentenary 1994

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo.  These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Bottled to celebrate Oban’s 200th anniversary, 1794 – 1994  this 16 year old was released exclusively from sherry casks by distillery manager John William and his employees listed on the rear of the bottle.

A popular bourbon produced in Louisville. This is an older bottling of the 6 year old product from the 1960s.

86 Proof as 100 proof was not a requirement for bottles exported out of the United States.

Oishii Wisukii 36 Year Old Highlander Inn Small Batch Blend

A very high quality 36 year old blended whisky which has been matured in a single Sherry cask.

Bottled exlusively for the whisky lover's paradise, The Highlander Inn in Craigellachie, and named Oishii Wisukii, which translates to \"Delicious Whisky\", this bottle has labels designed by Japanese artist and designer Takeshi Abe whose previous work has included label design for the Ichiro's Malt card series.

Oban 19 Year Old Manager’s Dram 1995

The Manager’s Dram series of whiskies were bottled exclusively for employees of what is now known as Diageo. These whiskies were selected by the respective distillery managers within Diageo malt distilling and bottled at natural cask strength.

Released in 1995 from a refill cask, this Oban was bottled for United Distillers (Diageo) and chosen by John Williams.

Octomore 1.1 First Edition

The first release of the Bruichladdich Octomore, peated to 131ppm at the time the most heavily peated spirit in the world.

Matured for 5 years from October 2002 until April 2008 only 6,000 bottles released.

Vale Royal Wedderburn Jamaican Rum Averys for Corti 9 Year Old 1970s / US Import​

This is a truly special bottle. The terms Wedderburn and Vale Royal are both fairly obscure, though both are used to refer to specific, high ester rums particular to Jamaica.

Wedderburn rum was a classification of heavy rum that would usually be used to give weight and flavour to blended rums - much like malt or peated whisky in blends - and is rarely seen unblended. 

The popular Jamaica rum Smith and Cross, for example, is a blend of Wedderburn, mellowed out with milder Plummer style rum. 

Vale Royal on the other hand is generally used to connote rum produced in the 'style' of Vale Royal, the residence of the Prime Minister of Jamaica, which also housed a now defunct estate distillery.

There is speculation that the original Vale Royal stills are now situated at Long Pond and that this is where modern Vale Royal rum is produced.

Irrespective, not only is this is a phenomenally rare style of high ester, Jamaica rum, it is also one of a handful of bottles produced for Corti brothers in the 1970s, which are highly sought after and have a near cult like status amongst collectors and counnosures.

Bonded in 1996 and bottled July 2014 from four barrels.

Octomore Orpheus 2.2 

Similar to the Comus, the Orpheus release was peated to the same degree as its counter-part Octomore 2.1, at 140ppm.  The Orpheus was finished using Château Pétrus Bordeaux casks, recognised as one of the world’s top vineyards.  Matured for only 5 years this alongside the Comus have proven to be quite desirable bottlings.

Old Pulteney WK499 Isabella Fortuna First Release 1 Litre

Replacing the WK209 'Good Hope' Edition, the Isabella Fortuna is the second in this travel retail series, This is the first release bottled at cask strength 52.0%, whereas later bottlings were at 46%.

Named after the last remaining 'drifter' boat in Wick Harbour, the Isabella Fortuna, this limited release of approximately 18,000 bottles is from casks selected by Stuart Harvey, Master Blender at Inver House Distillers Ltd.

This is an older bottle of whisky produced by Sanraku Ocean Co. the parent company of Merican, who were owners of Karuizawa distillery. This enabled the company to use Karuizawa single malt in their 'Ocean' line of whiskies.
